Veve's Ramblings
I have done the impossible. I worked with the primarily colours and threw in green for good measure, and using nothing but the absolute basics, I've made a pretty decent design. When I first started, I never thought it'll actually work out. It seems that I could do nothing with such an awkward image, yet I wanted so much to create a Hana Yori Dango design.
Part of the guy's left arm was cut off and so was his vest so I needed to draw those in myself. It turns out, I didn't end up using that part of the arm. This turned out to be my 3rd right aligned layout in the last 2 months. (Not that I like it. It just turns out this way.) Creating a seamless background is always difficult; I can make it so that it's possible, but you really need to tweak the length of the content to achieve that seamless balance yourself, unfortunately. It's the one layout whose text that I did not justify because I felt that it works best as is. One more thing, I've created 2 header images. This is the default, hanadan_01a.jpg. If you would like to implement your own title, you'll need to open up style.css and do the following changes (Or again, if you like the font I've used, feel free to email me and I'll customize the header for you):
- Find hanadan_01a.jpg and change it to hanadan_01b.jpg.
- Find visibility: hidden; and change it to visibility: visible;.
- Edit "Your Title Here" in this document.
For anyone who wants to a heart-warming romantic comedy, you need to check out this series. There are cheesy parts, but the characters are endearing and there are also moments where you really do cheer for our protangonists. Doumyouji Tsukasa is definately one of a kind (the male lead; also the the character this design features) and Makino Tsukushi are two very interesting people. So are the rest of Tsukasa's gang, the F4.
